The choices you have opted for are for the CERTIFICATION level based on similar conditions and is for info only. Please check with your destination body the required CERTIFICATION level. You can change the level at your choice.

Our Basic CERTIFICATION Transl Document is fully valid and includes a statement of accuracy on our company letterhead confirming the name of our linguist, the full membership details of the Association of Trans lation Companies A.T.C, that it is accurate and complete including our contact details. It is also dated, certified and signed.

This is normally sufficient for use in the United Kingdom. If the documents are to be used in Courts, or for submission to a consulate, or in some higher U.K. capacity, or for use overseas, it may require a SWORN Declaration in front of a Solicitor or Notary.

We only need a scan/photo of the BASE ORIGINAL DOCUMENT for a Basic CERTIFIED declaration, which you can upload in Step 3. There are exceptions (see 'Sending Your Document').

The choices you have chosen are for the Stamping Cert level on similar status and is for reference only. Please check with your destination organization the required stamping level. You can manually override the Stamping level.

A  Sworn Declaration is attached to the translated document which is signed by a Commissioner for Oaths (usually a Solicitor or Notary) confirming that it is accurate and complete. It includes details of the linguist, our details, stamp and signature, it also includes the solicitor's details, stamp and signature.

This is normally sufficient for use in UK Courts, for some consulates  or for use overseas. If the  translated document is for use overseas, you may also need to have it Legalized (Apostille). Please check with whomever you are submitting the documents about Legalization or choose legalisation below (See our Legalization/Apostille page).

The choices you have chosen set the Stamping level based on our experience when we previously translated in similar conditions and had the translated document notarized by a notary public. Please check with your organization the required Stamping level. You can manually override the Stamping level.

The Notarization process is similar to the Sworn process, except that the translated document is signed and stamped by a Notary Public, not a Solicitor. This is usually required for higher capacity commercial transactions for use abroad, some consulates, higher court cases.

If the notarised trans lated document is for overseas use you may also need to have the original document and/or translated document legalized (Apostille). Please check with whoever you are submitting the translated document about legalization or choose Legalization below.

You have chosen NOT to have the translated document Stamped Certified. In general, translated documents for submission to public organizations are Signed, Stamped, printed on Letterheaded paper, and sent to you by email and by post. If you are still sure you do not require Stamping or Letterheaded paper, for example the translated document is just for personal use, click "go to step 2" to proceed with the order. The Non-stamped  translated document will be sent to you by email only without any Stamp on it and not on Letterheaded paper.

Legalisation (Apostile) may be needed when your translated documents are going to be submitted abroad the UK or to a Foreign Consulate in the UK. You can get the Legalization done at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) yourself or we can do it on your behalf. The FCDO takes a week (sometimes more for verification of signature or if they are busy).

Please check that the destination country where you are presenting your translated document which was legalized by the F C D O is on the list of Member Countries of the Hague Convention https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostille_Convention. If not, after legalisation there is one last step, which is for you to legalise your documents at the relevant foreign embassy/consulate.

If you only need 1 copy, set it at '0'.

What our customers say
Excellent service from start to finish. Excellent communication. Would highly recommend.
- Leann
Quick and easy - office & website looks a bit off-putting but they were quick to get the document translated (in on Saturday, back on Wednesday) and had the most competitive price I found online.
- Peta
The business of sworn and legalised translated documents is complex and not only did they explain the process very clearly they also set out options without attempting to sell you the most expensive options. They were extremely clear and helpful throughout the process as well as very quick and very competitively priced. No complaints at all. Would recommend 100%.
- Nicolas
